ABOUT KRISTEN

I believe that hair color should look natural, elegant, and effortlessly beautiful. I specialize in seamless highlights, low-maintenance balayage, and color corrections, and I’m known for creating lived-in buttery blondes and rich, dimensional brunettes that enhance each client’s unique beauty.

My passion for hair began during summers spent in my parents’ native Portugal, where I was captivated by the effortless style of European women and the way fashion and hair color could transform someone’s look and personality. Inspired by those vibrant colors, I knew I wanted to bring that same artistry to my own work.

At 18, my journey brought me to New York City, where I trained at the prestigious Marie Robinson Salon under the mentorship of industry icons Marie Robinson and Mark Debolt. With five years of experience as a professional colorist, I’ve perfected the art of creating timeless, wearable looks that feel fresh and modern.

I’m passionate about creating a fun, relaxing environment for my clients, and my goal is to ensure that everyone who sits in my chair leaves feeling confident, refreshed, and truly beautiful inside and out.
